Degrading the earth

Our want is yielding unwanted,
As we forgot its side effects.
We degrade the Cosmo,
With our activities everyday.

We want shelter;
We cut down trees,
We burn bushes.
But we have forgotten,
The tile is fading.

We want easy life;
We invented machineries,
That emits smoke and spills oil.
But we have forgotten,
The tile is fading.

We want increasing crop yield;
We use hard substances on land.
Changing the texture
But we have forgotten,
The tile is fading.

Man is ever curious;
Wanting to know more,
Over exploiting God's gift,
Excess exploration and consumption.
But he has forgotten,
The tile is fading.

We want to set records;
We want to conquer,
When it comes to war.
We build nuclear weapons,
To eliminate men and degrade the Cosmo.
But he has forgotten,
The tile is fading.

What we do everyday,
Degrading the precious gift,
And The tile of the universe is fading.

We see no rain,
But it is always cloudy.
When it rains,
It is always flooded.

The sepal fell off,
The petal blown away.
The bud stripped off,
And flower withered away.

The birds are harmed,
Their feather fall off.
And their wings broken,
The birds now desert the bush.

Seasons aren't what they were;
Summer doesn't burn,
Winter no longer cold.
Autumn and spring,
No longer what they used to be.
The universe tile is fading.
